I'm noticing a disturbing trend in the DC area, and in hip hop fashion in general and that's the shrinking of t-shirts and jeans. NEWSFLASH- Guys tight jeans are for CHICKS ONLY! Baby tees are for chicks as well. The blurring of the lines in fashion must stop. I'm getting tired of seeing dudes in these tight ass nut hugging jeans made by John Stockton. STOP IT! It's not a good look.
Also- PULL YA FUCKING PANTS UP GUYS! no one wants to see your dingy ass boxers.
It's also harder to find jeans that fit. I can no longer go into H&M. They're the worst offenders. Every pair of jeans I try on in there is cut crazy. Either they're crushing my nuts or they're too tight. It's incredibly frustrating. For now I've temporarily gone back to Levi's and Abercrombie & Fitch jeans.
I end this rant with the 2nd Commandment from GQ's 10 Commandments of Style modified by yours truly :
Thou shalt wear sneakers AND jeans made for a man.
It’s fine to own crosstrainers and running shoes and hightops. But save them for the gym. When you’re on the street, keep your sneakers simple and classic. Go for ones like Stan Smiths, Jack Purcells, and Sambas. They work with everything, including suits. When it comes to Prada, the America's Cup sneakers are classics and incredibly comfortable. You can't go wrong with a pair of those. My personal favorite is the Car shoe.
